Anna Frank

Dr. Anna Frank studied Biology at Ruhr University Bochum, where she also completed her Ph.D. on photosystem I–based biohybrids for in-vitro catalysis. After postdoctoral positions in Bochum and Rostock and a JSPS/Alexander von Humboldt fellowship at Osaka University, she returned to the University of Rostock in 2025. Her research focuses on photosynthetic protein complexes, structural biology, and biohybrid catalysis.
